Banana bread


For this banana recipe you will need:


  • Butter - 250g
  • burnt sugar - 1 cup
  • sugar - 1 cup
  • sour cream - 6 tablespoons
  • egg - 4 pcs.
  • mashed ripe bananas - 2 cups
  • zest from 2 oranges
  • Flour - 4 cups
  • baking powder - 2 tsp
  • soda - about 1 tsp
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • mace - 1 tsp
  • crushed walnuts - 1 cup

Beat butter and add sugar, continue whisking until the butter until no longer pink. In the oil mixture to pour sour cream, beaten eggs, add the orange zest. Mix together the flour, salt, baking soda, baking powder, mace, and pour the mixture into the previous one. This also enter grated bananas and chopped nuts. Batter mix well and put in the bread pan. Bake at 180C for 1 hour. Ready bread to cool, wrap in foil and leave overnight.

The next day the bread cut into thin neat slices, spread with fresh butter, jam or jelly. Each slice a sandwich cut in half or into quarters, lay buttered side pieces together and apply to tea, coffee, cold milk.
